If you are wondering what something you own is worth, or if you need money to pay some bills, or put an addition onto your house, then why not dust off those old items and put them to some good use.  Cash in your pocket.  You would be surprised how much you can get for your gold and silver, it is at an all time high.  What about those collectibles that you just really have gotten to giving away yet? Take a look again, see if they are worth any money.  You can go to your local pawn broker and they will give you an estimate on your treasure.  In a tight economy, every avenue is worth looking at.
